The flowers only last for a couple of days and are then replaced by red hairy pods containing the seeds for the next blossoming. Evening Primrose oil is loaded with nourishing and moisturizing fatty acids
and it is a rich source of linoleic acid (66-76%). It also contains the superstar fatty acid called gamma-linolenic acid (aka GLA, 7-12%) which has especially soothing and healing properties.
